Clothesline Project

April 4, 2013 by

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

In celebration of SAAM, The Clothesline Project is coming to IUPUI on Monday April 8th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Campus Center Atrium & CE 148. The Clothesline Project is a visual display of shirts with messages and illustrations that have been designed by women and male survivors of violence or by those who love someone who has been killed. To learn more about the Clothesline Project, visit: http://www.clotheslineproject.org/index.htm. This event is being sponsored by the Sexual Assault Prevention, Intervention and Response Taskforce at IUPUI as part of National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Taskforce is headed by CAPS and the Office for Women.

There will be two opportunities to decorate shirts for the display including Wednesday April 3rd from 1:00 – 3:00 pm (CE 1st floor) and Thursday April 4th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm (CE 2nd floor) at a Campus Center Info Table. We would love for members of the Division of Student Life to encourage students to visit the information tables this week as well as attend the actual event coming up this Monday.

Come decorate a shirt!!
